Great selection but at extortionate pricesIf you like me are not trade then expect to robbed by IDS. They offer a great selection of products and I know that they are the supplier to a lot of other companies in the local area. However, I needed to buy some extra Quickstep flooring that I needed at short notice and couldn't believe the markup they were putting on their prices.For example, I needed a pack of flooring that I'd bought online for 34 a pack. The additional pack from IDS was 47. To put that into context, the same flooring is 21.99 per square metre from Quickstep. From IDS it's 26.11 a square meter. IDS are charging over 18% more than the manufacturer.And I also needed a threshold bar that I could find online at around 19 but needed immediately. From IDS it was a staggering 31. That's an increase of more than 60% from the online price.So, they've probably got what you need and can get hold of what they don't have in stock at short notice but be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for the privilege.My advice would be to shop around online. Definitely not recommended.
